For this part， you are allowed 30 minutes to write a composition on the topic “Changes in the Way of Communication”. You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 words.
本题要求考生论述communication方式的变化。communication有多种意思，但是在本题中它的意思是“通信”，即传递信息的方式，如书信、电报、电话等。此外，本题是一篇论说文，所以考生在写这篇作文时不能仅列举通信方式的种种变化，还要分析其原因，做到叙议结合，以议为主。
本题可以写成三个段落。
第一段提出所要讨论的话题。可以先指出如今通信方式正在经历着巨大的变化，然后列举一些细节使这一论点具体化：我们几乎每天都能看到有人通过手机与客户谈生意，或热恋中的情侣通过视频电话卿卿我我。
第二段分析通信方式变化的原因。为了使分析深入透彻，最好从两三个方面展开。就本题而言，可以先指出科技发展是通信方式变化的推动力量。接着通过今夕对比论证这一点：过去人们的通信主要依靠写信，信息传递缓慢，需要数月甚至数年才能得知对方音信;随着互联网问世，如今人们与地球另一边的亲友眨眼之间就能取得联系。随后指出另一个推动因素是人们生活水平的提高。比如，智能手机在过去是奢侈品，但如今它在人们的生活中已经变得很平常。
本题可以用预测法结尾。第三段先指出科技在飞速发展，人们对信息的追求是无限的，然后预测未来人们将会有更新和效率更高的通讯方式。

Nowadays communication is undergoing dramatic changes. Rarely does a day go by that we do not see a man negotiating a deal with his client over the phone or a lovey-dovey couple billing and cooing on a video call.
Advances in technology are the driving force behind the changes. In the past， people kept in touch with each other mainly through writing letters. It took months or even years for them to hear from each other. However， with the advent of the Internet， people can now get in touch with their relatives or friends on the other side of the globe in a flash. Another contributing factor is the improvement in living standard. For example， the smart phone， once a luxury， has now become commonplace in peoples daily life.
Science and technology are advancing at a blistering pace. And peoples thirst for information knows no limit. Perhaps only time will tell what newer and more efficient means of communication we shall have in the coming decades. （166 words）

本题要求考生论述为什么应该鼓励学生培养应对挑战的能力。所以，本题论述的重点是培养应对挑战的能力对学生的重要意义。
本题可以写三个段落。
第一段提出所讨论的话题。可以从人生充满挑战说起，接着列举一些挑战，使之具体化。然后顺势指出应对挑战的能力对学生至关重要。
第二段阐述培养应对挑战的能力对学生的重要意义。首先指出，积极应对挑战可以让学生有机会成为最好的自己。不挑战自己，就永远不知道自己的实力。此为立论。然后从两方面对此展开论述。首先，应对挑战能够把学生塑造成一个善于交际的人，因为挑战迫使他与别人沟通交流。其次，应对挑战还能够使学生更加成熟。可以引用美国石溪大学的一项研究，证明人们接受挑战才会成长。
本题可以用建议法结尾：第三段先指出应对挑战能够让人们发挥才干，因而是一项至关重要的能力，然后建议学校领导鼓励学生提高应对挑战的能力。

Life is full of challenges—injury， illness， unemployment， divorce， or loss of loved ones， to name just a few. Oftentimes， a misfortune befalls us when we least expect it. Therefore， the ability to meet challenges is essential for the younger generation.
Tackling challenges head-on gives a student the opportunity to become the best version of himself. If he doesnt challenge himself， he will never realize what he can become. For instance， dealing with challenges molds a student into an expert communicator， as tackling challenges forces him， in a helpful way， to interact with others.
